  • KIC’s qualitative team – spearheaded by Gisella Emiliani Lazerson - has immense experience in focus group research, ethnographies, immersions, dyads, triads, in-home and in-person interviews.

  • Gisella is a seasoned focus group moderator with over 10 years of experience moderating focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-store interviews and ethnographies. She has conducted extensive qualitative research in diverse categories such as food & food service, retail, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, financial products, tourism and leisure.

  • Gisella views qualitative research as finding the pieces of a puzzle and putting them together. She thoroughly enjoys the challenge in finding the why’s behind consumer behavior and helping clients to gain valuable new learnings.

  • Gisella has worked with a number of blue chip companies including Burger King, Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Wal-Mart, Dole Foods and MTV Networks.

  • Gisella conducts both general market and Hispanic groups. She is fully English/Spanish bicultural and bilingual and has a BA in Economics from Hollins University and a graduate degree in Marketing from Los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia. She has also received moderator training at the RIVA Institute.
